Page Visit optimization is a feature that empowers you to optimize your Community Interaction ads for clickthroughs to a specific page within your account, such as Profile Page, Playlist Page, Hashtag Page, and Music Page. Learn more about Community Interaction objective overall.


Note: In August 2023, Profile visit was upgraded to Page optimization and we introduced 3 more pages in beta testing which can be supported through Page optimization, in addition to profile page.

When to use Page Visit optimization

With Page Visit optimization, you can amplify the power of your organic content on TikTok, turning audiences into brand ambassadors through story telling within the TikTok community, by enabling you to drive traffic towards prime TikTok real estate - your internal pages.

Choose Page Visits as your optimization goal if:

  • You want to build up your digital presence efficiently by bringing traffic to both paid and organic content.

  • You want to lift views & interactions across your entire TikTok content through different pages.

  • You have new updates on your business that you want to share.

  • You want to use your TikTok pages as another channel to drive users down the marketing funnel.

  • You want an extremely efficient way of bringing traffic to both paid and organic content.


Requirements

  • You must set up an internal page supported by Page Visit optimization from one of the below.

    • Profile page (default selection)

    • Music page (only music with copyright can be used)

  • For Community Interaction optimization, you must adopt Spark Ads.


How to use Page Visit optimization within a Community Interaction campaign

To create a Community Interaction campaign, you will need to create a campaign, ad group, and ad on TikTok Ads Manager.

  1. Create a campaign on TikTok Ads Manager and select Community Interaction as the advertising objective.

  2. Choose the optimization goal:

    1. Page Visits - Optimize towards Profile Pages, Hashtag Pages, Playlist Pages, Music Pages. Note: Hashtag Pages, Playlist Pages, and Music Pages are currently under beta testing and requires allowlisting. Please reach out to your sales team for details.

  3. Define your target audience using TikTok Ads Manager's targeting tools.

  4. Enter your budget and choose a bid strategy.

  5. Select a TikTok Post to use in your ad.

    • Community Interaction runs only on Spark Ads. To learn more about Spark Ads, refer to Spark Ads.

  6. Publish.
