These terms of use of the website conversions campaign rebate (these “Terms”) govern your eligibility for and use of website conversions campaign rebate services. Please read them carefully and ensure you understand them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you cannot use the website conversions campaign rebate. The legal entity offering the the website conversions campaign rebate services to you is the TikTok entity described in the TikTok Advertising Terms (in either case, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
To the maximum extent not prohibited by applicable law, we may, where reasonably necessary for a legitimate reason, amend or cancel any or all website conversions campaign rebate availability at any time in our sole discretion, and/or update, amend, or replace these Terms.
1. What is the website conversions campaign rebate Services
1.1 Overview
To help new advertisers onboard the TikTok Ads Manager platform, and facilitate their ad placement experience, we will provide selected new advertisers with the option to place one ad campaign following our smart performance campaign recommendations, which is targeted at bringing a minimum number of conversions as specified in the ad campaign creation interface (the "Target Conversions") to the promoted website in the number of days during the campaign delivery indicated in the product interface starting from the date when the ad campaign starts to run (the "Trial Period"). Subject to all other conditions as specified in the ad creation process and these Terms, we will provide certain ad credits only valid for ad placement via TikTok Ads Manager ("Ad Credits") if the ad campaign fails to bring the Targeted Conversions.
1.2 Eligibility
To opt in for website conversions campaign rebate, you must have a TikTok Ads Manager account in good standing and be invited to experience website conversions campaign rebate when you create and place the ad campaign.
Website conversions campaign rebate only applies to the first Trial Campaign (as defined below) that is successfully placed under the offer by each invited client. For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not follow all the recommended ad settings, then you may become ineligible for this offer.
2. Trial Campaign and Ad Credits
2.1 Your Campaign should qualify as a Trial Campaign to get Ad Credits.
"Trial Campaign" is a campaign that meets all the following conditions and is successfully placed under the website conversions campaign rebate offer:
(i) you must place an ad campaign via TikTok Ads Manager when the website conversions campaign rebate is made available to you as indicated in your ad campaign creation interface;
(ii) website conversions are set as objective;
(iii) the optimization event of your pixel must be "complete payment",
(iv) your ad campaign must be set to run continuously for at least the recommended minimum number of days indicated in the product interface and the dayparting must be set all day, and you must not terminate or suspend the ad campaign within the Trial Period;
(v) you must set a daily campaign budget on or above the minimum daily budget required for the website conversions campaign rebate (the aggregate minimum daily budget of the Trial Period is referred to as the "Minimum Spend Amount"), and you must maintain sufficient account balance for daily campaign budget in the Trial Period; and
(vi) you must follow all recommendations provided to you in the TikTok Ads Manager interface during your ad campaign creation process, including without limitation recommendations on "Automated presets", "Optimization & bidding", "Attribution settings" and "Budget schedule".
Eligibility for the website conversions campaign rebate offer is subject to successful placement of your ad campaign under the website conversions campaign rebate offer.
2.2 If the Trial Campaign fails to bring 100% of the Target Conversions within the Trial Period, you will receive Ad Credits equivalent to the value calculated as below:
Value of Ad Credits = (number of Target Conversions - actual number of conversions brought by Trial Campaign during the Trial Period) * (Base Spend Amount/number of Target Conversions)
Base Spend Amount means the lower of (a) actual ad costs of the Trial Campaign in the Trial Period, and (b) the Minimum Spend Amount.
2.3 The performance of your ad placements is influenced by various factors, including without limitation your ad settings, your operations during the ad campaign and external changes. Notwithstanding the Ad Credits that you may become eligible for subject to these Terms, we make no explicit or implied promises, guarantees, warranties or representations of any kind to you with respect to the effect and performance of the Trial Campaign, investment returns of your ad campaigns, and revenues of your promoted products or services.
2.4 After the Trial Campaign starts to run, your eligibility to use the website conversions campaign rebate and receive Ad Credits will be cancelled in any of the following circumstances:
(i) You change any ad settings of the Trial Campaign before the end of the Trial Period, including without limitation deletion or change of ad creatives, change of budget and schedule, change of target CPA, and change in ad targeting;
(ii) Any information, data, content, items and materials in any form which are provided by you, or made available, approved, or linked to by you, or on your behalf in connection with your ad placement in the Trial Campaign, including any third-party material, data or content contained therein, is removed or restricted access to, due to breach of any applicable laws and regulations, or any of our terms and policies;
(iii) We identify any abnormal cheating behavior in connection with your TikTok Ads Manager account, which may result in suspension of delivery of the Trial Campaign or any ad group included in the Trial Campaign, including:
You use any wilful or fraudulent methods in order to obtain Ads Credits;
You use any forms of plugins or any third-party tools to interfere with, influence, modify, or exert other impacts on our platform and products in connection with website conversions campaign rebate; and
You have been found to violate any of our terms and policies according to our anti-cheating and integrity moderation model;
(iv) You edit or change any account information of your TikTok Ads Manager account before Ad Credits are issued to you, or your TikTok Ads Manager account gets suspended or otherwise restricted due to violation of any of our terms and policies (including TikTok Commercial Terms of Service, Advertising Terms and Advertising Policies);
(v) The website, products or services being promoted in the Trial Campaign or your action is found to be in violation of any applicable laws and regulations;
(vi) Delivery of the Trial Campaign or any ad group included in the Trial Campaign is suspended or terminated due to other reasons attributable to you, including without limitation operation by yourself, insufficient budget or account balance, failure to maintain normal functioning status of your website to promote, and failure to maintain availability of your ad creatives;
(vii) Delivery of the Trial Campaign or any ad group included in the Trial Campaign is suspended due to reputation risks or adverse impact in terms of social evaluation in connection with your website, products or services; or
(viii) Delivery of the Trial Campaign or any ad group included in the Trial Campaign is suspended due to other reasons not attributable to TikTok Ads Manager platform.
If any Ad Credits have been issued to you when we detect the occurrence of any of the above circumstances, we will revoke Ad Credits issued to your accounts.
3. Distribution of Ad Credits
3.1 Whether you are eligible to receive Ads Credits is subject to our final audit to be conducted within [2] business day after the end of the Trial Period.
3.2 If you become eligible for Ad Credits subject to these Terms, you will receive the Ad Credits within 2 weeks after the end of the Trial Period. Under special circumstances, such as when the final audit takes extra time for us to process, when manual review of the ad performance of the Trial Campaign is required, occurrence of system anomalies, upgrading or change of functionalities and business adjustments, you may need to wait for extra days to receive the Ad Credits.
3.3 The minimum threshold amount for issuance of Ad Credits is 0.01 in your local currency, under which you may not be able to receive any Ad Credits.
3.4 Ad Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Ad Credits are only valid for ad placement via TikTok Ads Manager and valid for 1 time use only. Ad Credits cannot be combined with any other promotions, offers, or discounts, and cannot be invoiced. Advertising Credit Terms and Conditions apply.
3.5 If Ads Credits are issued by mistake due to product malfunctions, we reserve the right to take measures to correct such mistake, including without limitation to revoke the Ads Credits accidentally issued to you.
3.6 If you have any questions regarding website conversions campaign rebate, you may submit a ticket here with supporting materials within 7 days from the date upon your receipt of the Ad Credits or the end of the Trial Period of your Trial Campaign if you have not received any Ad Credit, and we will endeavor to respond as soon as reasonably possible. You agree and acknowledge that failure or delay to submit the report under this Section 3.6 will constitute a waiver of your right to request for the Ad Credits.
