How to troubleshoot failed reports

There are three primary reasons why your report may fail to download:

  1. The size of the selected data is too large: Data reports can take a longer time to export, or even fail to export if the data size is too large. For certain combinations of dimensions and time ranges, you may experience download issues because of an overwhelming amount of data.

    • We recommend selectively choosing your dimensions/metrics in your report when using the Run and Export feature. This feature is best when you choose to export reports within a shorter, selective timeframe.

    • If you want to export dimensions with a wider time range, we suggest using the Scheduled Running feature to allow the system to deliver results over certain time intervals and prevent potential download issues that are experienced from data overload.

  2. The server is busy: Your download may fail as our servers are busy due to excessive queries. We suggest that you attempt to download the report again in 30 minutes.

  3. Downloading too many reports simultaneously: If you attempt to export multiple reports at once, your downloads may fail. To prevent this, we recommend that you export reports one at a time.
