Before getting started: You will need to be able to access your Organic TikTok account to link it with your TikTok For Business account. If you are having trouble logging in to your Organic TikTok account, head to the TikTok Help Center for more guidance.
If you're having difficulties linking TikTok For Business to your Organic TikTok account, you can use the following checklist to resolve the issue.
Appeal any age restrictions on your TikTok account
You will be unable to link your TikTok For Business with your TikTok account if your TikTok account does not meet the age requirements (only TikTok accounts where the owner is over 18 years old can link to TikTok For Business). However, if you feel the age restriction is unfairly applied, you can appeal it during the linking process.
If you see this error message appear when linking your accounts, "This feature is not available for your account due to the age restriction. Try using another account," follow these instructions to appeal the restrictions:
1. Click OK on the error message pop-up. This will take you to the TikTok For Business login page.
2. Click Submit now on the age restrictions callout.
3. On the appeal form, enter your email address and username, starting with the "@" symbol.
For example, "user@email.com" or "@username"
4. Under Topic, select TikTok For Business, and under Tell us more, choose Age issues.
5. In the 'How can we help?' field, describe your issue.
For example, "I would like to appeal the age restriction on my TikTok account."
6. In the Attachments section, you must upload a photo ID that includes the birth date of the person who registered the TikTok account, such as a driver's license or passport.
7. Click Submit to complete the appeal.
Once you submit your appeal, you will receive an email with the following messages notifying you of the outcome of your appeal:
"Your appeal was incomplete and could not be processed."
"Your appeal was successful, and the registered age of your account was updated."
Resolve any issues with your TikTok account
If there is an issue with your TikTok account preventing you from logging in, like getting banned or failing to reset your password properly, you will need to reach out to TikTok to restore access to your account.
Reset TikTok For Business password
If you created a TikTok For Business account using an email address or phone number but didn't set up your password correctly, you will be unable to log in to TikTok For Business.
If this is the case, you can reset your password from the TikTok For Business log-in page.
Enter the email or phone number you used to create the account
Click Send Code to receive a Verification Code.
Once you receive the code:
Enter it into the Verification Code field.
Create and confirm your new password.
Click Reset Password.
After you reset your password, you can use the new password to log in to your TikTok For Business account.
Contact support if you are locked out of your TikTok For Business account
If you signed up for TikTok For Business using your TikTok account and cannot sign in to TikTok For Business, you will need to contact TikTok For Business so we can help restore access to your account:
If you are a managed account owner, please contact your account manager for assistance.
If you are a self-served account owner, please follow the steps below.
To help restore access to your TikTok For Business account, we will need to verify the ownership of your TikTok and TikTok For Business accounts. Once we can verify you are the owner of the accounts, we can bind a phone number or email address to your TikTok For Business account, which you can use to reset your TikTok For Business account's password.

Note:
You will only be able to access your User Settings page if you can log in to your TikTok For Business.
Once you unlink a TikTok account, you will not be able to log into TikTok For Business using this TikTok account or access any of its assets.
Logging into TikTok For Business with this TikTok account will not be available once the account is unlinked.
The newly created ads can no longer select the contents that belonged to the TikTok account. The existing ads will not be impacted.
