When you create an account on TikTok Ads Manager, you'll be able to select your time zone. TikTok Ads Manager works with time zones that are either full hour or half hour ahead or behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Note: TikTok Ads Manager does not support time zones that use quarter hour deviations and daylight savings time.
Your time zone affects:
The time your data is displayed on the platform, including in reports.
Your ad delivery settings, including start and end times.
Your bill cycle dates for invoicing when calculating your total ad costs.
Note: You will be unable to change your time zone after selecting it during account registration.
Use the following steps to access your selected time zone in Tiktok Ads Manager.
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Go to the Tools tab.
Click Account setup and view your selected time zone.
The Time Zone Converter in TikTok Ads Manager helps you manage campaign start times, end times, and dayparting schedules without relying on manual calculations or third-party tools. As of March 7, 2025, the Time Zone Converter features:
Local time scheduling: You can schedule ads based on your local time zone or your target market's time zone.
Automatic time conversion: The selected time is automatically converted to the Business Center account time zone for consistency in reporting, ad delivery, and budgeting.
Daylight Saving Time adjustments: The system accounts for regions that observe daylight saving time and adjusts accordingly.
If a region observes Daylight Savings Time, you can select this option from a dropdown list.
If the start and end times fall under different time zones due to the duration of the campaign, you may need to adjust the end time by one hour forward or backward to ensure accurate delivery.
You will be informed by a pop-up notification if the start and end times fall under different time zones, such as during daylight saving transitions.
Improved time zone display: The dropdown menu now displays both the UTC format and the time zone name (e.g., Eastern Standard Time).
