The Objective

kaufDA is an app based in Germany that gives users a way to compile all the latest deals, flyers and offers in their area, providing better and bigger savings. Its objective on TikTok was to increase app installs by reaching Gen Z.




The Solution

In collaboration with hi!share.that, kaufDA partnered with well-known Creator @reneschmock to create a series of attention-grabbing Spark Ads, one of TikTok’s most effective ad formats for natural, organic engagement. The format entices users in by boosting native videos directly from a brand or creator’s profile, as either an In-Feed or TopView Ads, then sends them on to an external link. The result is a deeper level of engagement and more memorable experience for the community, leading to better brand success and more effective KPI metric wins. 


Created in his unique style, @reneschmock made a video that featured pieces to camera explaining how to get the best deals as well as showing the app on screen. It’s a style the TikTok community loves. 



The Results

Running for just 5 days, the campaign collaboration drove results that nailed benchmarks and made the objective look easy, with a click-through rate increase of 97% when compared to previous campaigns. As a result, the app was downloaded over 55,000 times too, proving the effectiveness of TikTok’s app install objective. As Rene Schmock’s video went viral, the conversion rate increased by 50% on Android and by 95% on iOS, with a cost-per-install decrease of 42.8%. Thanks to this campaign, in less than 24 hours after launching, the kaufDA app was ranked #1 in the General.
