Streaming Ads is a catalog-fueled performance ad solution, purpose-built for streaming service advertisers. Streaming Ads supports 2 creative formats: Singular Media Card and Media Card. This article covers the creative specifications for each format.
Follows standard in-feed video ad creative guidelines
The card image is the cover image of the streaming library title.
You can have one card image per title, which is added to the media and entertainment catalog using the image_link field.
Your catalog must have ≥ 5 assets/rows, although ≥ 10 is strongly recommended.
When adding to catalog via CSV upload, the image link must be configured via file hosting link. This must be a direct link to download the image file, not a link to a media player such as YouTube. Test the link in your browser to make sure it prompts an image file download
Images must be 2:3 aspect ratio and 500x750 px or larger in size. For details, see Product Image Requirements
Name of the streaming library title as it appears on streaming platform.
You can have one title per streaming title, which is added to your media and entertainment catalog using the title field.
The title can extend to a maximum of 2 lines for display. If longer than that, it will be truncated (after 35 characters).
IMDb rating and reviews count (number)
You can have one rating and review per streaming title, which is added to your media and entertainment catalog using the qid field.
May be toggled on/off in the TikTok Ads Manager Card Editor
You can have two custom/selling point labels per streaming title.
You may assign two out of the six following catalog fields to the Primary and Secondary card labels in the TikTok Ads Manager Card Editor:
genre (required): a maximum of 5 (separated by comma) are allowed. Note: The genre must come from a list of pre-approved values. Refer to available fields for Streaming Ads catalog to learn more.

You can use custom labels to communicate a 1-4 word value proposition or call out associated with each title.
Custom labels will cut off at different character lengths on Media Card, depending on which card label position (Primary or Secondary) the catalog field is assigned to in the TikTok Ads Manager ad-level card editor:
Primary label: 24 character cutoff
Secondary label: 22 character cutoff
