How to update a Personal or Business Account to an Organization Account in Seller Center

Updating a TikTok Personal or Business Account to an Organization Account in Seller Center empowers organizations to secure control of their TikTok account and allows multiple organization members to log in and manage the account more efficiently. In Seller Center, you can update an existing Personal or Business Account to an Organization Account and link to the Organization Account.

How to update a Personal or Business Account to an Organization Account in Seller Center

To update a Personal or Business Account to an Organization Account in Seller Center:

1. Log in to Seller Center.

2. Click your profile icon in the top right of your dashboard, then click My Account.

3. Click Linked TikTok Accounts.

4. In the Choose your next step section, click Link.

5. In the Use an existing account pop-up, click Update to an Organization Account and click Continue.

6. Click I acknowledge the changes above and agree to update to an Organization Account.

7. Open your TikTok app, scan the QR code, and follow the update instructions within the app.

8. Once you have completed the necessary steps in the TikTok app, click Got it.

9. In the Official account tab, confirm that the status of your account is Trial ends in 15 days. Your TikTok account is now in a 15-day trial period for the Organization Account update and will be permanently updated to Organization Account after the trial period.
