How to use the Ad Preview Tool

The Ad Preview Tool allows you to preview how your ads will appear across different placements and devices. Use this tool during the creative development process to ensure your ad meets TikTok's specifications and appears correctly before launch.


How to use the Ad Preview Tool

  1. Navigate to the standalone Ad Preview Tool site.

    • Alternatively, you can find a link to the Ad Preview Tool within TikTok Ads Manager by going to the Tools tab at the top and clicking Ad Preview Tool.

  2. Select the ad type that you wish to preview. Choose in-feed, search feed, or TopView ads for the format.

  3. Upload your ad assets. You can upload both video and image formats. Confirm the following creative settings:

    • Music

    • Identity

    • Text

    • CTA (Call to Action)

    • Disclaimer

    • App language

  4. To preview your creatives, on the bottom navigation bar, select a phone model and see how your creatives will appear across devices.

After completing these steps, you will be able to visualize your ad’s layout and align all creative components with TikTok’s mobile experience guidelines.
