I transferred a Pixel to Business Center, but later the ad account that created this Pixel got suspended. Can I still use the Pixel in other ad accounts?

Yes, the usage of this Pixel will not be impacted by the status of the ad account that created it.

My account is suspended. Can I still share a Pixel?

Unfortunately, you cannot share a Pixel while your account is suspended.

Why can't I find the Pixel to track page views?

Page view is tracked by default because it is not a requirement for Page View Tracking.

Can I share a Pixel with an Ad Account that has already created a Pixel?

Yes, there is no limit to how many Pixels an ad account can access regardless if the ad account did or did not create the Pixel.

Can I share an existing and actively running Pixel?

Yes, you are able to share a Pixel that has been actively running.

Can I share a Pixel with Ad Accounts that I do not own, but are linked to my Business Center?

Yes, once a Pixel is successfully transferred into Business Center, you can share it with Ad Accounts that your Business Center has admin/operator/analyst access to (you must be logged in as the admin).

Is there a limit on how many Ad Accounts and Business Centers that can connect to a Pixel?

A Pixel is limited to a maximum of 100 Ad Account connections in a single (1) Business Center. However, there is no limit on the number of Business Centers that a Pixel can be shared with.

What happens if I unshare a Pixel that’s been applied to active ad sets?

The Ad Account will not be able to use this Pixel to create new ads, and active ad sets that are using this Pixel will not be stopped immediately. You'll need to individually select campaigns and manually stop them in Ads Manager.

How do I determine if I am a Business Center admin and/or Ad Account admin?

Go to your Business Center and click member. Then use your login email to search for yourself and view your levels of access.

How do I determine which ad account(s) have access to a Pixel?

You verify this on the Pixel tab in Business Center. Select the Pixel to view the list of ad accounts that have access to it. However, you cannot see this information from the Ad Account.

Are there logs on who transfers or assigns the Pixel? Who can see it?

Pixel activity logs are available in Business Center under Activity Log and can be accessed by the admin.

Note: The log found in Events Manager will not include this information.

As an agency member, I own both Business Center and Ads Manager accounts. Can I grant clients with admin access the ability to create new Pixels?

Yes, only the users with Ads Manager account admin access are able to create new Pixels in the original ad account. You can assign your clients with Business Center admin access or assign the admin access to the original ad account that you use to create the Pixels.

How do I transfer the Pixel and audience that originates from an Agency Business Center account to a new Direct Business Center account?

You can share the Pixel from the original ad account to the Agency Business Center account, and then share the Pixel access with the new Direct Business Center account.

Note: The Pixel cannot be transferred from one Business Center account to a third Business Center account.

Do I need to take any action in Events Manager throughout this process?

You'll need to take note of your Pixel ID found in Events Manager but Pixel sharing must be done in Business Center.
