Raising awareness for new product using TikTok Pulse
The French optical brand Alain Afflelou needed to raise awareness for their hero product MAGIC Glasses & their iconic MAGIC Clips. The brand aimed to get high visibility for this new product as well as making sure users understand the different advantages it offers :
- Change style or type of protection to infinity
- Adapt your frame to your desires and needs with different lenses from a simple pair of glasses with a clever system of magnetic clips
- Transform your eyeglasses into sunglasses, add a blue light filter or even 3D lenses
All of that without giving up optimal protection and trendy style!
To do so, Alain Afflelou decided to leverage our Pulse solution. TikTok Pulse is a solution that allows advertisers to display their campaigns with the top 4% of content on TikTok.
By using this product, Afflelou was able to control content that was displayed alongside their "Magic Clips" campaign.
They aimed to raise awareness of their new collection among their target audience through hyper-contextual messaging. Alain Afflelou ran the campaign alongside our Beauty and Fashions lineups and all Pulse lineups.
The campaign was a success, surpassing benchmarks in media metrics and significantly increasing ad recall by +4%.
Pulse enabled Alain Afflelou to realize that users can be interested in and consume their content even if they don't fit into the "Beauty & Fashion" category. Various interest categories were identified and subsequently incorporated into in-feed auction campaigns.
To continue their test and learn approach, Alain Afflelou replicated these findings by optimizing the ongoing in-feed auction for 6-second and 15-second focus views, resulting in improved cost per video view for the 6-second focus view and higher completion rates.
