Linking or creating TikTok accounts as ad delivery assets in Ads Manager allows you to link TikTok accounts to your ad accounts or create TikTok accounts directly in Ads Manager, simplifying the campaign setup process.
Note: This feature is not available for all advertising objectives. For a list of unsupported objectives, please refer to the "Availability" section in About linking or creating TikTok accounts as ad delivery assets in Ads Manager.
Ensure you are an admin of at least one Business Center.
Ensure the ad account you're using is part of the Business Center.
Ensure you have operator or admin access to the ad account.
The entry point for all linking methods appears during the Spark Ads creation process for Smart+ Campaigns.
Note: The option to Link TikTok account typically appears in the ad creation workflow under the Identity section, after you have selected creatives from your Creative Library.
Use this method when the TikTok account has already been added to your Business Center but is not yet available to your specific ad account.
From the Identity section, click Link TikTok account.
Select Linking existing TikTok account and choose the Select from your Business Center option.
Select one or more TikTok accounts to link to the current ad account.
Click Confirm.
Refresh the page. The selected accounts will now appear in the identity dropdown, ready for use in your Spark Ads.
Use this method if you have access to the TikTok account and it has not yet been added to any Business Center.
From the Identity section, click Link TikTok account.
Select Linking existing TikTok account and choose the Log in to an existing TikTok account option.
Click Confirm.
A login window will appear. Enter the credentials for your TikTok account to log in.
After logging in, you will be prompted to authorize the connection between your TikTok account and the Business Center. Review the permissions and approve.
Refresh the page. Your account is now linked and available in the identity dropdown, ready for use in your Spark Ads.
This is the most secure method for linking a TikTok account owned by a third party, such as a creator or another business, without exchanging credentials.
From the Identity section, click Link TikTok account.
Select Linking existing TikTok account and choose the Link with QR code option.
Click Confirm.
Ask a user of the TikTok account to scan the QR code with their TikTok account to approve the request.
Once they have approved, refresh the page. Your account is now linked and available in the identity dropdown, ready for use in your Spark Ads.
Completing these steps successfully centralizes your TikTok ad identities within your Business Center, allowing for a more secure, collaborative, and efficient advertising operation.

Note: These methods typically appear in the ad creation workflow under the Identity section, after you have selected creatives from your Creative Library.
This method creates a TikTok account that is owned by the Business Center itself, not an individual. This is the recommended approach for official brand accounts as it enhances security and simplifies long-term management.
From the Identity section, click Link TikTok account.
Select Create new TikTok account and choose the Create Organization-owned TikTok account option.
Click Confirm.
Provide a nickname for the Organization Account and select your account operating region. You may also optionally include a profile photo and username.
Note: If you are a China-based advertiser, select a region other than China as your operating region, as China is not listed as an option.
Click Create.
Refresh the page. The new organization-owned TikTok account will now appear in the identity dropdown, ready for use in your Spark Ads.
Note: The option to create organization-owned TikTok accounts might not be available to you. If you do not see this option, ensure your Business Center has passed business verification.
This method follows the standard sign-up process but conveniently links the account to your Business Center upon completion.
From the Identity section, click Link TikTok account.
Select Create new TikTok account and choose the Sign up for a new TikTok account option.
Click Confirm.
A new window will open, presenting the standard TikTok sign-up form. Complete the registration process.
After creating the account, you will be prompted to authorize the connection between your TikTok account and the Business Center. Review the permissions and approve.
Refresh the page. Your new account is now linked and available in the identity dropdown, ready for use in your Spark Ads.
With either method, the new TikTok account is automatically linked to your Business Center. You will be the TikTok account admin and can assign permissions to other members.
