How to request TikTok account ad delivery permissions in Business Center

One Business Center can ask for ad delivery permissions from up to 500 TikTok accounts for easy and expandable account management.

Note: If a Business Center needs to request ad delivery permissions from more than 500 TikTok accounts, please contact your account manager to request this.

Before you begin

• Ensure you are a member with Admin access to the Business Center.

How to request TikTok account ad delivery permissions in Business Center

1. Log in to your TikTok Business Center account.

2. Click Accounts in the left-hand menu.

3. Click TikTok accounts.

4. Click Add a TikTok Account, choose Request ad delivery permissions and click Next.

   • Or if you don't have existing TikTok Accounts with ad delivery permissions within the Business Center, click Request access.

   • Note: For a TikTok account that is not part of the Business Center (non-official) account, obtaining the right permissions and access to the GMV Max ad account, Shop ads, and TikTok accounts is essential.

5. Select the level of access you'd like to request from the TikTok account. You can turn the following permissions on or off:

   • Existing posts

     • This permission allows you to pull existing posts from your TikTok account for ad delivery.

   • TikTok posts

     • This permission allows you to push new content to your TikTok account.

   • LIVE videos

     • Exclusive LIVE GMV Max ad delivery permissions (for non-official accounts)

   • Showcase

   • Message ads

   • Series

   • Note: To ensure that you can use the TikTok account to deliver Spark Ads, turn on Existing posts and TikTok posts.

6. Click Generate QR code.

7. The next step varies based on your selection for Message ads permission:

   • If Message ads is not selected, you will see two options: Ads Only to request ad delivery permissions for the TikTok account, and Continue to request Business Account management permissions. Click Ads Only to proceed with requesting ad delivery permissions.

   • If Message ads is selected, you can only click Continue to request Business Account management permissions.

8. Click Copy QR code to download and share the QR code with the TikTok account owner.

Note: On the TikTok app, the owner of the TikTok account will need to scan the QR code and give the Business Center authorization to the account.

To access the QR Code Scanner via the Profile page:

1. Go to your Profile page.

2. Tap the three dashes in the top right corner of your screen.

3. Tap My QR code.

4. Tap the Scan icon in the top right corner of your screen.

5. The owner of the TikTok account can scan the QR code to approve your request.

When your request is approved, the TikTok account will appear in the TikTok accounts tab in Business Center and you'll be able to grant access to your members.
