Note: Keyword expansion for Shop Ads is currently available to all advertisers in the US and SEA and will slowly be rolling out to advertisers in other locales.
When you create Product Shopping Ads or Video Shopping Ads, you can use Keyword expansion to help your products appear in searches in the TikTok app and TikTok Shop Tab.
You can use Keyword expansion with Video Shopping Ads and Product Shopping Ads for TikTok Shop.
Keyword expansion works best for advertisers who have experience with keyword lists on other platforms and know which keywords work best for them.
To use Keyword expansion:
Go to TikTok Ads Manager.
Create a Video Shopping Ad campaign or a Product Shopping Ad campaign.
At the Ad group level, find Keyword expansion.
Click Add keywords.
Click Manual entry to type your keywords, or click Bulk upload to import a CSV of your keywords. You can add or upload up to 1000 keywords for each ad group.
Complete and publish your ad.
Note: All search keywords must be reviewed to make sure they align with our TikTok Advertising Policies. Your ads may still run if your keywords are In review. If a keyword has been rejected and you think it's a mistake, you can request a review in TikTok Ads Manager.
