How to create your Streaming Ads catalog

Last updated: February 2026

A key element that powers Streaming Ads is catalogs. TikTok uses an industry specific entertainment catalog to help you create ads that are custom tailored for major streaming use cases.

Before you begin

How to create your Streaming Ads catalog

  1. Log in to TikTok Business Center.

  2. In the left navigation bar, select Assets.

  3. Select the Catalogs tab.

  4. Select Add catalog. Fill in all of the required information. Make sure to select Media and entertainment catalog in the industry field. Click Create when you are finished. Note: Once your catalog has been created, only the catalog name and shipping information can be changed.

Once you save your catalog, you will be directed into the Overview section of your new media and entertainment catalog in Catalog Manager. Next, it's time to add products (individual streaming titles) to your catalog.

How to add products to your Streaming Ads catalog

  1. From the Overview section of your catalog, select Add products.

  2. There are 3 options for adding products to your new Streaming Ads Catalog: Manual, Data Feed Schedule, and Upload File

    1. Manual upload: Add products manually. All of the fields displayed upfront are mandatory fields, but you can also expand the page to add optional info. Learn more about available catalog fields for Streaming Ads.

    2. Data feed schedule: Choose this option to upload a feed link and have it refresh on a schedule. In most cases, you'll choose New Product Source, unless you're updating an existing data feed schedule.

    3. Upload file (recommended for Streaming Ads): Upload a CSV file of your feed. Make sure that it follows our template or it will be rejected.

Important: If you choose to upload a CSV file, we recommend using one of the templates:

After you've uploaded your products to your catalog, use the Products tab to view, filter, and add more products. You can also use Product Sets to filter and separate products based on the content of your catalog.
