Promoting Komputronik to a whole new audience in Poland to boost awareness and sales in an authentic way, all while winning them the ‘Greatest Performance’ award in the TikTok Ad Awards 2024.
Komputronik is a leading provider of consumer electronics in Poland. To build awareness and boost sales amongst a Gen Z audience, Komputronik came to TikTok for an engaging campaign built around native content designed to entice and entertain young people across the country.
According to the strategy developed with the agency Sales&More, Komputronik based their campaign on Spark ads – one of TikTok’s most powerful content-boosting platforms. Using organic content from their profile that was entertaining and not overly sales-focused, the brand set about reaching their desired audience through a combination of automatic and custom targeting. Boosting native content in this way also meant that the original posts receive all the views, comments, shares, likes, and follows associated with the campaign. Komputronik also used interactive overlays and TikTok-only discount codes, as well as influencer appearances in their ads to help diversify content and keep the campaign engaging.
The second focus of Komputronik’s campaign was optimisation, the foundation of which was a correctly configured TikTok Pixel, conversion API, and tracking. Although the campaign’s main focus was primarily targeting new users, Komputronik also used various remarketing groups.
The Komputronik campaign recorded some phenomenal results for the brand. Their native approach to content coupled with a sales-light product focus saw record sales as a result of their activation. In order to make a reliable comparison, Komputronik analysed the campaign data via Google Analytics, proving the greatest increase in performance on TikTok itself when comparing similar campaigns over the same period in the previous year.
The comparisons showed a 940% increase in sales value for Komputronik, alongside a 759% increase in sales overall. What’s more, a return on ad spend 6X higher than a similar campaign run in the same period last year shows the power of this kind of strategy. The campaign was so successful that it earned Komputronik the "Greatest Performance" award in our TikTok Ad Awards 2024, having used the platform to redefine the boundaries of creativity on TikTok.
