The Objective

QNB Finansbank is one of Turkey's biggest banks with more than 10 million active clients. As QNB Finansbank wanted to onboard more clients with a strict CPA target, they incorporated SPC campaigns into their TikTok marketing mix.



The Solution

Addressing those challenges, TikTok Marketing Platform developed the Smart Performance Campaign (SPC) solution that leverages TikTok's state of the art Machine Learning algorithms to analyze all the available data and deliver better performance results through automating the optimization process for the customer.As a part of the SPC Test program, QNB Finansbank launched a regular app promotion campaign targeting Android and a test Android Smart Performance Campaign completely managed by the platform's algorithms. The rest of the settings between the campaigns were identical (including the allocated budgets) helping the advertiser to evaluate the impact of SPC automation and compare final results in a clear cut manner.



Results

From the early stages of the test, SPC campaign started to demonstrate improvement over the control group. After analyzing the test data, the customer reported the following:

  • SPC generated better CPA for the optimization event (17% decrease in CPA)

  • SPC brought a significantly higher volume of conversions (+230%) over control group

  • SPC utilized the daily budget much better with 174% higher spending
