Increasing ad account opening efficiency with TikTok's Business Center API

CGY is a China-based agency that provides overseas ad management services to its clients through a self-developed software as a service (SaaS) platform called Siluzan. CGY's goal was to increase the efficiency of its platform by automating the ad account opening and recharging process using TikTok's Business Center API, one of TikTok's API for Business solutions.
Prior to adopting TikTok's Business Center API, CGY had a dedicated team responsible for manually opening ad accounts one by one for their advertisers in the Asia-Pacific region—a process that was both time-consuming and labor-intensive. CGY believed that with TikTok's Business Center API, they would be able to automate the ad account management flow into simple code, thereby reducing both the time and resources dedicated to ad account management.
CGY partnered with TikTok's API for Business team to integrate TikTok's powerful API solutions into their own SaaS platform. Specifically, they plugged into our Business Center API capabilities, and built a solution centered around decreasing the time and effort it takes to open and recharge ad accounts.
TikTok's Business Center API greatly improved account management efficiency for both CGY and their clients. Not only were clients able to onboard more efficiently, leading to faster ad spend, the integration of TikTok's ad account top-up API capability into their system allowed CGY clients to recharge their ad accounts much faster than before.
After plugging into our Business Center API endpoints, CGY was able to create more than 2,000 ad accounts per week, while in the past, they were only able to manually create around 90. It previously took CGY up to 40 minutes to create a single ad account, but now they are able to bulk create up to 10 ad accounts within 3 minutes.
By reducing the time it takes to create ad accounts, advertisers now have more time and opportunity to scale spending on those accounts. In fact, from May 2021 to May 2022, spending by those accounts grew 300% to more than $6.77 million.
Finally, TikTok's account top-up API solution reduced the time it takes clients to recharge their ad accounts to less than 1 minute (the old manual recharge process could take up to 30 minutes).
With the help of TikTok For Business API and TikTok's supporting teams, we were able to build a series of ad management tools on our platform that provides great ad management efficiency and user experiences.
