The brand have advertised on TikTok before with several campaigns, but this was their first time using the updated Smart Plus for a new product. The objectives for this campaign were reach, video views and conversions with the goal of achieving 600 sales.
The campaign targeted TikTok users in Saudi Arabia for Saudi National Day, leveraging Spark Ads in combination with TikTok's Smart+ Web, to target the most relevant audience for the spice brand.
Smart+ is TikTok's AI-powered performance solution, designed to maximise returns by automating campaign management across targeting, optimisation and creative. The solution allows up to 1500 creatives per ad group (45,000 per campaign) for mass-scale testing, and improved analytics and creative management capabilities.
In terms of content the campaign focused on product features, allowing the Smart+ automated targeting to ensure that the content was delivered to the most relevant audiences.
Their main strategy was to exclude audiences who had already purchased from the food brand, helping focus the ad spend on new potential customers rather than retargeting those who had already converted. This strategy helped the brand to widen reach and product awareness, rather than focusing on one audience.
Through intelligent usage of Smart+ alongside TikTok for Business advertising solutionss, the campaign achieved outstanding results, generating over 10k conversions, a ROAS of 12.12, and a CPA of 19.78 SAR.
These results demonstrated the TikTok's ability to reach highly engaged audiences and directly boost sales. The platform has helped the brand amplify its visibility, connect with new customers, and showcase its premium products in a dynamic, visually engaging way.
