Driving conversions for Société Générale
French banking brand Society Generale came to TikTok to run one of the first conversion campaigns for a bank in France, with the objective of collecting leads to sign up for a new bank account.
In partnership with their media agency Carat/iProspect, Societe Generale ran In-Feed Ads set up on TikTok Ads Manager with a conversion objective.
The brand opted to run a nurtured account strategy for their web conversion campaign. They started with In-Feed Ads optimised for the event “view content”. After collecting enough data, they added an ad group optimised for the event “subscribe”. The brand also adjusted creative depending on the user age groups at target but kept it simple and to the point, displaying brand logo and offer upfront.
The Societe Generale campaign was highly successful in hitting its objective. In one month, the brand saw a 48% increase in leads and an 11% decrease in cost per lead.
