German electric car-sharing company WeShare wanted to run a campaign on TikTok to acquire new users at low cost-per-install.


The Solution

Having previously run iOS ads without App Profile Page, resulting in a high cost of acquisition, WeShare wanted to bring down the cost of acquisition with this TikTok campaign.App Profile Page is a fast-loading instant page experience that helps improve the delivery performance of iOS 14 dedicated campaigns by acting as a bridge between TikTok and the App Store.WeShare ran In-Feed Ads set up on TikTok Ads Manager with App Profile Page. The ads focused on highlighting the benefits of using WeShare and the problems they solve for their users. One video showed some friends renting a car using the app to transport groceries home to host a delicious dinner while highlighting a discount code offering money off a first ride.


The Results

The campaign smashed expectations. Compared to the first campaign run without App Profile Page, the cost per install improved by 48.7% and the conversion rate improved by 58.5%.
