Attracting new talent and boosting brand image

Daily You is a catering company based in Hamburg, Germany that was founded by Kemal Üres in 2010. Placing a focus on sourcing quality and sustainable ingredients, they provide catering services for a range of businesses, daycare centers, kindergartens and more across the region.
As their business goals grew, they had two challenges they wanted to solve when they looked at TikTok. Firstly, they wanted to increase brand awareness by improving their community interaction and secondly, due to a staffing shortage across the food industry, they wanted to showcase the business to attract new talent.
Using Spark Ads, Daily You and their agency AMPATHY were able to test out different forms of content on the platform. Kemal Üres, the company owner, appeared in the content, often alongside current employees as they showcased various aspects of the business in an authentic and natural way.
With a strong array of content, they added budget to the best performing, which offered cost efficiencies and helped them reach new audiences. They also set up two Ad Groups as part of the campaign, looking at Profile Visitors and Followers in order to hit their target groups in areas where they knew they would be most interested.
Kemal had 1,500 followers on TikTok when he looked at the platform as a route to build brand awareness and recruit new staff in January 2022. By March he had accumulated over 100K followers, with 20% of that attributed to the campaign.
From a Brand Awareness perspective, Kemal has become so recognisable thanks to TikTok that he is now known locally as the "restaurant-whisper”and has been recognised as an industry expert on the platform. Not only that, within a week, they had 25 qualified leads for new staff.
Prior to the campaign, Kemal believed that TikTok was only a platform for teenagers but now sees it as a key marketing platform for his business.
