Mainline Menswear offer one of the largest ranges of men’s designer clothes in the UK. They pride themselves on having varying types of fashion styles, for men of all ages and on any budget, through one of the best online retailing experiences around. As fashion on TikTok continues to grow, they came to the platform to showcase their latest products, and increase their online sales.


The Solution

Speeding up the purchase process with Collection

Mainline chose to use Collection Ads, which are the perfect ad format for brands looking to showcase their products, generate interest and give the option to learn more, all while driving users through the purchase journey quickly, without ever leaving the app. Appearing in the For You feed as an In-Feed Ad, Collection Ads are supplemented with an interactive card and instant storefront page, allowing users to browse a curated product gallery. They used eye-catching creative with impactful audio to engage users and ensured the products that were featured were also pinned to the top of the gallery page, to ensure that the customer journey was as simple as possible and ultimately speeding up the purchasing process.


As part of the campaign, Mainline tested a different range of audiences against each other to understand which offered the best performance. This approach also ensured they could showcase their wide variety of products and clothing inspiration to an engaged audience.


The Results

A perfect fit for online retailing

The campaign was a fantastic success for Mainline.


With the use of Collection Ads they saw a 13% increase in click-through-rate, impressions of 6.3 million, and overall they saw a 1.4X return-on-ad-spend.


How they utilised the instant gallery and aligned it to their creative was a key aspect of the campaign, and brought about great results.
