Driving e-commerce site purchases and impressive ROAS

Peculiar Eyewear is a Philippines-based online eyewear shop specializing in fashionable eyeglasses that reduce the blue light from computers, phones, and other screens. All of the company's computer eyewear products are proudly assembled in the Philippines. In order to increase online purchases through its e-commerce website (powered by Shopify, a badged TikTok Commerce Partner), the brand turned to TikTok Ads Manager.
By integrating the TikTok Pixel into its Shopify storefront, Peculiar Eyewear was able to build a full purchase funnel for its marketing activity on TikTok.
Performance campaigns with multiple ad groups were created, each optimizing towards one of three key goals: Add To Cart, Initiate Checkout, and Complete Payments, with ROAS progressively increasing the further down the funnel they went. This campaign tagging structure also enabled Peculiar Eyewear to build out both Custom and Lookalike Audiences to further expand the reach and scale of its campaigns.
The campaign successfully achieved both breadth and depth, with 2.3 million audiences reached and 2-second view-through rage of more than 54%, indicating strong engagement for the ad creative. With 2.3X Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), TikTok has undoubtedly proven to be an effective sales channel for the brand.
