Helping sneaker and streetwear brand Wethenew generate hype and sales across France
Wethenew is a leading online platform for the purchase and resale of new, authentic, and limited sneakers and streetwear products. Founded in Paris in 2018, the brand exploded onto the scene providing sneaker-heads with a secure marketplace to trade their favourite shoes. To reach people across France while boosting sales, Wethenew came to TikTok for an authentic campaign designed to capture the attention of a brand new audience.
The Wethenew campaign was created around our Dynamic Showcase Ads with a homemade template. Dynamic Showcase Ads (DSA) allow brands to automatically promote thousands of products and personalised video ads that speak to audiences’ interests based on their activity. Wethenew then ran a conversion campaign optimised towards complete payment or Value-Based Optimisation, helping them to maximise the brand’s return on ad spend.
For the creative, Wethenew produced a full suite of videos – all made with TikTok best practice in mind to help build a strong community on the platform. This also allowed the brand to run a video view campaign with Spark Ads, which positively impacted the conversion campaign (higher ROAS during this period) and the campaign’s overall completion rate (2 and 6 seconds) compared to benchmarks.
The Wethenew campaign smashed benchmarks and secured the brand some highly impressive results. For the month of May, the brand’s return on ad spend came in 2.7X higher than December, while June registered an incredible 5.8X increase. Wethenew also saw a dramatic reduction in cost per action in June, recording an 86% drop compared to campaigns ran in December.
