The Objective

Hailing from Malaysia, Zoo Berry is a snack brand that offers customers a range of Halal-certified high-quality gummies at wallet-friendly prices. With TikTok’s vast user base and diverse demographics, Zoo Berry saw the platform’s potential to grow their business and started posting creative videos and engaging content regularly. As they started gaining traction, they wanted to elevate their marketing strategy with advertising solutions on TikTok to amplify their reach and boost product sales through TikTok Shop.



The Solution

Zoo Berry, aiming to reach new users and convert viewers into purchasing customers, launched a series of LIVE Shopping Ads (LSA) and Video Shopping Ads (VSA) ads. LSA, a tool that enables brands to stream and sell their products in real time, was utilized by Zoo Berry to communicate directly with viewers, answer their questions instantly, and increase the likelihood of purchases during the live stream. This interactive and engaging format added novelty to the shopping experience, allowing viewers to watch their orders get packaged.


In addition, Zoo Berry’s VSA campaign places their video creatives on the ‘For You’ page. The ad format allows advertisers to apply advanced targeting, optimise for full-funnel goals and add Product Anchor Links to the bottom of their video creative, linking users to their Product Detail Pages directly for seamless check-outs and payments.


Zoo Berry made strategic decisions in their advertising approach. They applied broad targeting to reach as many users as possible while using Custom Targeting to exclude users who had purchased from their TikTok Shop in the last 14 days. Their Shopping Ads opted for the Maximise GMV bid strategy. This choice allows the system to target users who are more likely to make purchases and complete high-value orders, thereby maximising the potential for higher revenue.



The Result

Within just one month, Zoo Berry's strategic use of LSA and VSA campaigns led to a remarkable 15.2 times Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and over 5.1K total products sold. This success story, reaching more than 1.6 million, demonstrates the vast potential of TikTok's platform and solutions.
