Magnolia Boutique was founded on the concept of providing a one-stop-shop solution for women to find the right outfits without needing to search for hours in the mall. Magnolia helps women find their own unique look without the expensive price tags, offering a well-curated, budget-friendly selection of on-trend styles.


TikTok has helped Magnolia, a BigCommerce merchant, connect with their customers and target audience in a completely different way than they did pre-COVID. It has also helped them become more creative with their content ideas and approach solution-based marketing more strategically.


For this campaign, Magnolia Boutique wanted to drive more engagement around their brand and newly launched items for the season.


The Solution

Interactive shopping solutions

In order to promote engagement, Magnolia Boutique created an informative "How-to-Wear" campaign featuring various styling tips for newly released clothing and used Voting Stickers to invite users to contribute their preferences.


Voting Stickers are an Interactive Add-on solution that can be appended to an ad creative without additional costs to a brand. Not only did Magnolia Boutique's Voting Stickers encourage direct audience engagement and spark conversations, they also provided valuable feedback and insights for the brand's next campaign. The information will also help inform the brand's product offering strategy for future collections.


Magnolia Boutique also used the TikTok Integration on BigCommerce to seamlessly sync their catalog to their TikTok Shopping Tab. The Shopping Tab lives on the TikTok profile and boosts organic discovery for a brand's product catalog. With their catalog synced to TikTok, Magnolia was also able to tag their video post with a Product Link driving audiences to a product's catalog page in their Shopping Tab, instantly connecting shoppers with what they want to buy.



The Results

A perfect fit

Magnolia received 700,000 video views, and achieved 40% engagement rate12% conversion rate and 35% more sales compared to their site average. The level of interest shown from the TikTok community helped the content go viral, exceeded the team's expectations, and proved TikTok as an essential part of their marketing and commerce strategy moving forward.

Magnolia Boutique focuses marketing efforts on being authentic and catering to our audience.
