The Objective

Goodcall is a B2B AI driven software that answers phone calls to automate common sales and customer service tasks for businesses. This “GPT for local business” sets up in minutes to increase revenue, service level and productivity with a reliable and trusted AI assistant. Designed for digitally native small businesses, Goodcall turned to TikTok to reach tech savvy business owners to increase sign-ups for both free and premium services.


The Solution

Goodcall set up a conversion campaign that combined multiple TikTok solutions to reach their target audience and drive user sign-ups. They partnered with multiple creators through TikTok Creator Marketplace to create user-generated content. Videos included a clear, powerful message, quick transitions, and were 15-30 seconds long to maintain viewers' attention. They then leveraged the winning creatives as Spark Ads. TikTok's different audience targeting tools played a critical role in Goodcall's success. The automatic targeting option effectively identified the best audiences to receive Goodcall's ads, while the interest/behavior targeting option enabled Goodcall to target "business owners" as a specific ad group.


The Results

Goodcall tackled conversion goals and achieved record high results on TikTok. It wasn't until they started using ad targeting tools that they finally saw dramatic decreases in costs and a strong ROI. Combined with winning creatives in Spark Ads, Goodcall's CAC decreased by more than 96% annually - from $185 to $7 per new sign-up as a result of TikTok conversions and ad recalls. Their sign-up retention rate was 75% and people weren't churning - showing that their efforts on TikTok resulted in quality customers. In total, Goodcall gained 2K+ new accounts per month on a rolling basis, resulting in over 6K+ throughout their campaign. Goodcall found their target demographic of small business owners on TikTok. Moving forward, they're excited to continue running awareness campaigns and will prioritize increasing new sign-ups for their premium plan.
