The objective

Dhumy, a provider of professional diploma programmes in Malaysia, aimed to generate high-quality student enrolment leads through TikTok. However, its core audience (retirees and individuals above 50) often found short-form videos difficult to absorb and retain information. 


The solution

To overcome this challenge, Dhumy adopted Carousel Ads, a TikTok ad format that displays multiple images in sequence.

Carousel Ad also enables brands to reuse creative assets from other platforms while letting users swipe through content at their own pace, creating a smoother, more comfortable learning experience for older audiences.


The result

Campaigns combining Carousel Ads with Video Ads significantly outperformed those that relied on Video Ads alone, achieving 43% lower Cost Per Action (CPA), 15x higher Conversion Rate (CVR) and 8.8% higher Clickthrough Rate(CTR). These results highlight the effectiveness of Carousel Ads in generating high-quality leads, all while saving time and resources.
