Boosting festive dinner bookings in Bali through TikTok’s Smart+ lead generation
Akar by K Club, a restaurant under luxurious K-Club Ubud in Bali, offers a unique festive dining experience for both travelers and locals. To capture demand during the festive season and stand out in Bali’s vibrant dining scene, the restaurant turned to TikTok as a platform to boost brand awareness and drive bookings. Their primary goal was to reach a wider audience while lowering cost per acquisition (CPA).
To achieve this, Akar built a streamlined customer journey using TikTok solutions:
TikTok DM (TTDM): Ads with a “Send Message” call-to-action (CTA) that encourages diners to connect instantly in chat, reducing friction and drop-offs
Welcome message: An automated greeting that engages users the moment they initiate a chat, turning interest into conversation and nudging them toward booking inquiries.
Conversation optimisation: Target users most likely to engage in conversations, automating outreach and capturing valuable lead data for smoother sales workflows
Smart+: TikTok’s automated solution that dynamically optimises targeting, bidding, and creative delivery in real time, enabling Akar to reach high-intent diners with minimal manual effort
The campaign delivered powerful outcomes. Akar achieved a 47.3% uplift in clickthrough Rate (CTR)* alongside 36.1% decrease in Cost Per Action (CPA)* and 7% decrease in CPM*, highlighting more efficient conversations at lower costs. Together, these results demonstrate how TikTok’s solutions not only helped Akar capture festive dining demand, but also translate that attention into real bookings with lasting impact.
