CATALIC is a Korea-based beauty brand known for its Narcissus Mood Layer lipstick, available in various mood-evoking colors. For this campaign, the brand was looking to drive conversions with authentic, creator-led content. To find the right partner, CATALIC turned to the TikTok Creative Exchange (TTCX) program.




The solution

Scaling ad production with TTCX

TTCX enables fast, scalable production of creative content for advertisers like CATALIC. CATALIC took part in the TTCX program and matched with Soon-ent, a TTCX partner, because of the agency's expertise in beauty-related creators and a proven track record producing successful beauty ads. Soon-ent was able to quickly understand CATALIC's brief and move the project into the production phase. In total, Soon-ent helped CATALIC produce 6 impactful video ads by working with creators and studio talent, and repurposing existing creatives.


The brand then amplified these creatives using web conversion campaigns with TikTok optimization features such as Value-Based Optimization (VBO) and retargeting/lookalike audience targeting. CATALIC also leveraged Spark Ads to boost the videos from the creators' own accounts.





The results

Driving web conversions

By leveraging TTCX and partnering with Soon-ent, CATALIC was able to attract and convert prospective users. This resulted in an 83% boost in conversion rate and achieved 2.0x higher ROAS when compared against non-TTCX creatives. Furthermore, by leveraging conversion lift study that allows a scientific method to understand the causal impact of TikTok Ads, CATALIC found the campaign with these new creatives drove +557% uplift in purchases and spent 8.2x higher average purchase amount against non-exposed groups. Overall, the web conversion campaign achieved exceptional results, driving growth for the brand with the help of TTCX-produced creatives.
