INSPI is a clothing brand that belongs to a larger family-owned textile manufacturing business that has been operating for approximately 30 years. The company is recognized for its expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing, and promoting its own line of casual-wear clothing, catering to customers from newborns to adults. Although it has already ventured into the realm of e-commerce, the necessity to enhance its online presence on TikTok became more evident in 2020 when lockdowns were imposed, leading to the closure of the company's physical stores.


With its physical stores no longer around, INSPI recognized the need to expand its brand to a wider audience through online platforms. In light of TikTok's growth, the brand decided to embark on a new journey by joining the platform to enhance its online presence, with the objective of reaching a broader prospective customer base throughout the Philippines.

During INSPI's initial months on TikTok, the company prioritized developing its content strategy, producing short videos, and analysing what appealed to its target audience, which was different from its previous approach on other online platforms. The company explored multiple ways of spicing up content, from testing out different video lengths to using various trending sounds, and finally managed to find the sweet spot that resonated with the local TikTok community.



As with other content creators and businesses on the platform, INSPI also explored TikTok's popular video editing features during its early stages on the platform. This exploration proved to be a significant contributor to the company's success, allowing them to establish their presence on the app and subsequently explore other features and solutions provided by TikTok for Business. It was not long after that TikTok Shop emerged as the ultimate solution for increasing INSPI's purchase rates, skyrocketing up to 100% and reaching newer groups of audiences. Seeing that this has helped them, the team put faith in continuously leveraging the shopping feature to reap the ongoing benefits.

TikTok has had a significant impact on INSPI, with the exposure gained from having their products showcased on TikTok's catalogs and TikTok Shop. This opened up new opportunities for INSPI to drive traffic to its official website resulting in an increase in purchases from customers who discovered the brand on the platform, leading to substantial growth and elevating the company's business among locals.


Despite the closure of their physical stores, INSPI managed to connect with new groups of customers and communities on the platform who shared a common interest in their products. Within two years on the platform, INSPI has seen remarkable growth in its number of followers, which now totals 422.2k, contributing to a 100% increase in sales.


The brand's organic content and ads on the platform have played a vital role in expanding their customers base and preserving a 30-year-old brand in a new and engaging way. This also supports the brand's objective of building brand recognition amongst locals in the Philippines before venturing out to other parts of the world and bringing back the offline experience it had in pre-pandemic times.
