The objective

Juragan Abon, a fast-growing Indonesian F&B brand, is best known for its signature snack “Stik Sukun”. With a loyal customer base already in place, the team set out to reach even more snack lovers across Indonesia. They turned to TikTok Shop — not just as a sales channel, but also as a platform to build brand presence and deepen community interaction. By tapping into TikTok’s unique blend of entertainment and commerce, Juragan Abon aimed to scale both visibility and conversion while staying true to their customer-first approach.



The solution

To achieve this, the team adopted a Full Funnel Strategy — strategically combining Brand Ads and Community Interaction at the upper funnel, followed by LIVE GMV Max at the lower funnel. Brand Ads boost visibility through high-reach placements in the “For You” feed, introducing the brand to wider audiences who may not have discovered it otherwise. Meanwhile, Community Interaction objective drive profile visits and help grow follower base. Together, these formats warm up traffic ahead of the livestream, nurturing interest and building familiarity. As a result, viewers are more primed to engage once the brand goes LIVE. 

At the lower funnel, the team activated LIVE GMV Max, an automated solution designed to optimise delivery toward GMV during LIVE sessions. By using real-time platform signals, LIVE GMV Max ensures the brand’s ads are shown to users most likely to convert, helping maximise order volume and revenue during each broadcast. This allowed Juragan Abon to scale sales efficiently while maintaining ad performance throughout their livestream campaigns.



The result

By pairing top-of-funnel ads with conversion-focused solutions, Juragan Abon achieved significant performance gains — recording a 91% uplift in LIVE GMV*, a 64% increase in conversion* and a 13.8% boost in Clickthrough Rate (CTR)* compared to campaigns without Brand Ads.

These results highlight the value of taking a full-funnel approach on TikTok Shop, where building awareness and fostering engagement directly contribute to stronger sales outcomes.
