The Objective

PRISM+ is a trusted Singaporean brand that offers premium value electronic gadgets, specialising in display technology and smart home appliances. Having built a strong online following as an e-commerce technology brand, PRISM+ sought to build meaningful engagement among consumers – specifically with the growing number of Gen Z tech enthusiasts in the market.


As a big part of this engagement rested upon 'educating' the newer Gen Z audience, PRISM+ decided to jump on board TikTok to engage with the platform's target audiences. The brand’s content centred on bite-sized information about its products’ unique selling points, packaged into fun and trendy videos.


The Solution

Experimenting & Bringing a Variety of Content to Life

Since its first foray onto the platform, PRISM+'s team has been consistently experimenting with different TikTok formats to expand its outreach and determine which types of videos best showcase their brand story and products.



By leveraging TikTok's green screen feature to create comedic skits and encouraging their team members to participate in trending challenges, the brand was able to produce an array of videos. Moreover, their "never say never" approach to trying new things has resulted in a series of trending content, with some videos garnering over 2M views.


After finding its footing on the platform, PRISM+ took its audience engagement to new levels with their venture onto TikTok Shop. By tapping on the increasingly popular and interactive format, their regular livestream programmes helmed by a roster of entertaining hosts quickly evolved into a key touchpoint to educate customers and address common concerns and queries.


With this, PRISM+ found themselves building a regular audience of young home owners and Gen Z gamers looking to upgrade their devices, whilst constantly turning to the company's experts to bring their vision to life.



The Result

Achieving Record Sales and Fast-Tracking its Growth via TikTok

Since joining TikTok, PRISM+ has accumulated a massive audience, generating over 16.5K followers and 92K likes. Their livestreams have also been a key driver of growth for them, especially during the Mega Sales Season, helping them to cut through the noise and achieve unprecedented results.


Their 12.12 Sale in 2022 saw them achieve record sales on TikTok Shop, up 58.6% from the month before, with customers enjoying – and returning for – great deals and giveaways through their TikTok Shop channel.



This resulted in the brand securing over 1.4 million product impressions, reaching more than $2 million in sales within Q4 2022, and growing its livestream viewership four times since it first launched. PRISM+ will look to replicate its commercial success on TikTok Shop in other markets, with the brand currently exploring reaching out to audiences in Malaysia.
