Launching a powerful awareness campaign for a growing pet brand
Yuup! is a brand of beauty products for pets, launched in 2011 by Cosmetica Veneta. It is an Italian company committed to the principles of scientific research across the pharmaceutical, cosmetological and dermatological fields, ensuring the high quality of its cleansers and treatments for fur and skin.
The brand adopts an informal and playful tone of voice, aligning naturally with the authentic content style that users are used to seeing in their TikTok feeds. This positioning enables Yuup! to create engaging content for its audience, spanning informative videos, product presentations, and entertaining content. @yuup_italy shares a range of content to their engaged audience, including employee features, TikTok trends, and informative carousels.
Working in close collaboration with their agency, Moca, the key objectives of the campaign were Video Views, Follower acquisition and Conversions or Purchases.
To meet their objectives, Yuup! used a powerful combination of TikTok campaign tools to maximise delivery and performance. By leveraging Spark Ads, Yuup! were able to utilise high-performing organic content to create a TikTok-native campaign that fit seamlessly into users’ feeds, further amplifying the brand’s authentic communications. To drive conversions, Yuup! also activated Catalog campaigns.
Through their campaign delivery, the pet beauty brand made use of TikTok’s Smart+ campaign setup. Smart+ is TikTok’s AI-based campaign automation solution, which optimises ads for performance, creates and manages campaigns to save advertiser time, and reduces creative fatigue and costs by automating how ads are delivered to audiences. By powering their campaign with Smart+, Yuup! were able to ensure optimal ad delivery to the right audience while saving time on campaign management.
In terms of content, the campaign focused primarily on employee feature videos, while also incorporating a range of authentic video and carousel content to entertain and educate their audience about the brand.
The campaign was highly successful in meeting the brand’s goals of follower growth and cost-efficient conversions. In addition, it delivered a significant uplift in brand awareness, generating over 18 million video views across campaign content.
The campaign achieved a ROAS of 2.6 and gained more than 3,000 new followers, supporting the continued growth of the business.
By leveraging some of TikTok’s highest-impact advertising tools, Yuup! was able to reach new and previously untapped audiences through both organic content and paid campaigns, contributing directly to conversion performance.
By using a full-funnel approach, the brand combined a follower acquisition campaign to grow its audience with a sales-focused campaign designed to increase transaction volumes on its e-commerce site, supported by in-app shopping through TikTok Shop. This balanced mix of visibility and performance was a powerful tool in supporting the brand's growth.
