Vee Sightseeing’s team employed strategic advertising campaigns under the handle @vee.travel, to enhance product discovery and achieve their goals of driving app downloads, increasing impressions, and boosting conversions.
With this campaign, Vee Sightseeing used Spark Ads to promote their original creative content, aiming for higher conversion rates.
They initially targeted their ads to a custom audience in Catalonia, Spain, one of their key markets for experiences. As the campaign progressed, they expanded to other areas within Spain, eventually covering 70% of the country.
The success of Vee Sightseeing's campaign heavily relied on their creative content. Most of their content was made in-house, and they found that native and authentic TikTok content was the best way to capture audience attention. Their content strategy focused on fun and trendy videos showcasing the available experiences in an exciting and shareable way. These videos often featured people enjoying new experiences, memes, and occasional behind-the-scenes glimpses of Vee Sightseeing.
Deploying in mid-January 2024, Vee Sightseeing’s TikTok advertising campaigns have achieved success and generated remarkable results within many of the key performance indicators the company was seeking to target.
To date, they have generated a lifetime cost-per-click (CPC) of 0,77€ for their App Download campaign. They maintained their lowest cost-per-mille (CPM) at 2,15€, and, most impressively, were able to generate more than one million impressions. Their results are contextualized by the perception that targeting iOS 14 users typically results in higher costs, while simultaneously yielding higher quality users.
The team behind Vee Sightseeing continues to refine their campaign settings and ad content to further optimize their results. Moving forward, they aim to launch additional campaigns and ad groups in the form of seasonal campaigns and other ‘always-on’ advertising initiatives to support their growing inventory of experiences ready to be booked by adventure seekers across Spain.
