Helping leading supplement provider Zooki boost sales across the UK through TikTok Shop.

Zooki is one of the UK’s leading online providers of vitamins, supplements, and nutrition. Hoping to drive sales for their unique collagen products (which taste better and get absorbed at higher rates than other products on the market), Zooki came to TikTok to launch a series of shoppable ads that would not only spread the word about their incredible products, but boost sales using one of our strongest programmes – the Video Shopping Ads Accelerator.
Zooki began their TikTok journey at the beginning of 2023, and despite a strong start, quickly realised that – to gain the kind of results they were looking for – a fresh approach to their marketing activity on the platform was needed. Enter TikTok Shop. First embracing our affiliate model which allows brands to work with creators to promote their products in organic videos, Zooki then began to create Video Shopping Ads, displaying the various flavours and products in their range in a simplified shopping experience that takes users from the For You feed straight to checkout.
Following on from their new platform success, Zooki then embraced Live Shopping Ads, hosting their own live streams with creators and staff to promote their products in a totally engaging and 100% TikTok package. This platform also allowed the brand to provide in-depth details on the nutritional value of their collagen products, the benefits they have on health and wellness, and how they stand apart from other products on the market.
Zooki then signed up to our Video Shopping Ads Accelerator Programme, to push ahead and expand on their current Video Shopping Ads strategy. The programme helped them build their own creatives following TikTok best practice, and gave them direct access to a wide range of creators alongside various trends and video techniques.
The TikTok Marketing Science team then ran a Conversion Lift Study, separating our user base into a test group (users who see the ad) and a control group (users who don't see the ad). We were then able to measure the amount of conversions coming in from each group – using the difference as the "lift" – to demonstrate the impact of the ads.
The Zooki campaign and their adoption of various TikTok Shop platforms was hugely successful. Following the Conversion Lift Study, which ran for four weeks, we discovered a 125% boost to ‘Add to cart’ events, alongside a 66% lift in ‘Complete payment’ events. These figures clearly demonstrate TikTok's ability to drive lower funnel conversions, as well as providing detailed evidence of the power of engaging ads amongst our users.
Zooki’s combination of Video Shopping Ads and Live Shopping Ads was also a great way to expose users to a set of unique products, with the ability to explore their benefits in detail in a clear and compelling way.
