The objective

Boosting traffic and getting more clicks with TikTok Video Ads

Spain-based agency Rocket Digital launched a campaign with the watch brand Lotus, part of the Festina Group. The goal: connect with a younger audience with a fresh smartwatch collection.


The Festina group has established themselves as a giant with over 30 years of experience in the watch industry. Festina needed to connect their brand Lotus with people between 25-55 in Spain and France.


To start, Rocket Digital helped them launch Lotus on TikTok under the handle @lotus.watches, and expanded how they advertise.


Creating content that boosts traffic and gets more clicks is no easy task. Thankfully, Rocket Digital stepped up to the plate.

The solution

Reaching new audiences on TikTok with In-Feed Ads

Rocket Digital helped Lotus Watches launch on TikTok as a new medium to drive traffic to its website and reach brand affinity customers.

A primary focus for this campaign was featuring both lifestyle and product-focused content for the Lotus Smartime and Lotus Freedom watches.


Smartime is the Lotus smartwatch with a contemporary and urban style. Freedom is a collection of products for men and women characterised by elegance and sophistication. Using In-Feed Ads, in Ads Only mode, the content would show up in TikTok users' For You Feed. The initial ads appeared with various video durations of 6 and 15 seconds. The different lengths of creative were tested and the 6-second videos performed better for this campaign.


The launch of this format has been key to driving website traffic. Lotus started reaching a new audience and launching on new formats like the Get on a Billion Wishlists campaign, where products most relatable to TikTok audience are promoted.


The results

Turning impressions into clicks

During the course of the campaign, Rocket Digital increased the volume of traffic in both Spain and France with 4.4 million more impressions. By optimising video length based on its audiences’ preference, the campaign is appealing to more people. Lotus sales grew strongly in Q4 compared to the previous year thanks to the volume of reach and targeted traffic.


TikTok Video Ads, particularly 6-second ads with an eye-catching CTA promoting lifestyle and product-focused content, helped generate a 35k increase in clicks and 0.76% increased CTR.



Partnering with Rocket Digital introduced Lotus to TikTok ads and allowed them to take off in new markets.
