Driving performance and scaling creative production with TikTok Creative Exchange
BYLT Basics sells elevated basics that are designed to be high quality, long lasting, a great value, and highly versatile for an on-the-go lifestyle. As BYLT Basics rapidly scaled its business on TikTok, the brand was looking for new and innovative ways to tap into the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt movement. The brand had leveraged TikTok for a long time to connect with its audiences but was looking for new ways to accelerate growth and scale the creative production process.
Understanding the importance of building entertaining yet authentic content, BYLT Basics turned to TikTok Creative Exchange (TTCX), TikTok's creative platform that helps brands match with creative experts to produce high-performing TikTok creative.
BYLT Basics submitted a campaign brief through TTCX, and was matched with a badged TikTok Creative Partner, The Social Savannah, because of its extensive experience in helping clothing brands create sales and performance campaigns on TikTok. The Social Savannah produced a series of assets to promote BYLT Basics' men’s collection that leaned into popular TikTok trends, such as what I ordered vs got, try-ons and product reviews, and platform features like green screen and text overlay. The Social Savannah also ensured that all videos highlighted BYLT Basics' product benefits and had clear calls-to-action to drive campaign performance.
The Social Savannah offered comprehensive production services for BYLT Basics, covering everything from strategic advice like sharing performance best practices and crafting key messaging to handling campaign production like scripting, actor selection, video shooting, and editing. The campaign was uploaded to BYLT Basics' Ads Manager account through TTCX, allowing the brand to access real-time performance and measurement insights and compare creative performance with its previous campaigns.
By leveraging TTCX and partnering with The Social Savannah, BYLT Basics achieved tremendous success. Compared to past campaigns, BYLT’s TTCX creatives generated a 22% higher return on ad spend and a 63% higher click-through rate than their non-TTCX creatives. In addition to outperforming the brand's own benchmarks, the campaign also delivered a 13% lower cost per click and 21% more efficient cost per mille. The BYLT team has now partnered with The Social Savannah on several projects and continues to tap into TTCX.
