KUDU launched its delivery app in KSA and aimed to drive installs and grow its user base.


The Solution

KUDU successfully married technology and creativity to drive installations. They collaborated with a Saudi creator who produced TikTok-native content, humorously showcasing the features of the KUDU app and providing the TikTok community with compelling reasons to download it.

The brand promoted this content through in-feed Spark Ads continuously for one month, diligently optimizing their targeting. They excluded custom audiences of users who had already installed the app and expanded their reach to include lookalike audiences.

For iOS campaigns, KUDU directed traffic to an app profile page on TikTok. This page was specifically designed to enhance delivery performance for iOS campaigns by implementing a focused delivery model and leveraging onsite signals from user actions on the app profile page with promoted app information. The native Instant Page feature allowed brands to automatically gather promoted app information and include a CTA download button on the page.


The Results

KUDU's efforts in driving synergies between technology and creative elements yielded remarkable results, with 24,600 app downloads in Saudi Arabia within one month. This achievement came at an impressive 75% lower Cost Per Install (CPI) compared to their internal benchmarks, surpassing even TikTok's benchmarks.

For iOS campaigns, KUDU achieved a remarkable -67% lower CPI compared to benchmarks, demonstrating the effectiveness of their tailored approach. On the Android platform, KUDU excelled further, achieving an outstanding -84% lower CPI compared to benchmarks. These results underscore KUDU's proficiency in optimizing campaigns across different platforms, delivering exceptional performance and value.
