Embracing TikTok for a new kind of product advertising

MVF took a simple visual that worked on other channels (words written out on post-it notes) and recreated it for TikTok in video form – revealing the post-its gradually to narration provided by the ‘Duet’ feature. Before long, the new TikTok-first visuals kicked off, doubling their campaign’s CVR and halving CPA overnight, with a 300% uplift in conversion volume.
Onto a new winning formula, MVF decided to roll out their approach at scale, and opened up creative production to their entire business. By engaging staff from every department, MVF were able to create authentic, user-first content that emerged from following people’s favourite trends on the platform – including Green Screen, TikTok Made Me Buy It, ASMR-style unboxing videos, and many more.
Buoyed by their successes, MVF formalised the approach into a monthly ‘TikTok Creative Week’, where upwards of 100 ads are developed in a single week, every month. No paid actors, no fancy studio, just deep channel knowledge, unlimited creativity, and an organic understanding of what their customers want to see.
MVF’s ongoing success on TikTok shows that – with creativity, an understanding of the platform, and a determination to find your audience in unlikely places – hugely impressive results are achievable for any sized campaign or budget. Over the last 12 months, MVF have launched and scaled campaigns across 30 diverse products (from hearing aids to heavy duty equipment tracking) in 15 countries, with over 200,000 conversions and an increase in revenue of +3,000%. They have also increased gross profits by +2,400% – exceeding their target by 2x.
