How to create a Physical Product campaign for TikTok One

You can create a Physical Product campaign within TikTok One to help you easily integrate your products into TikTok One campaigns and deliver the products to creators. Learn more about Physical Product for TikTok One.

How to create a Physical Product campaign for TikTok One

  1. Access TikTok One.

  2. Click on the Campaign tab at the top of the homepage and you will be directed to two campaign options.

  3. Select Creator content at scale.

  4. Input your campaign information, such as name, description, country, and language.

  5. Select your creative distribution method.

  6. For Product Type, select Physical product.

  7. Enter your product information, either manually or through a catalog.

    1. Manually add: Enter the product name, price, url, product description, and target video number, with selling points and product size settings as optional.

    2. Select from catalog: Check the products that you want to submit for creator video production in the Catalog drawer that pops up.

      1. If you have enabled Video Shopping Ads (VSA) with Catalog for TikTok One campaigns, you will see the Auto-sync ads to product catalog toggled (on by default). When integrated with VSA with Catalog for TikTok One, your campaign will auto-link video creatives to products in your catalog. Learn more about VSA with Catalog for TikTok One and its availability to you.

      2. Without this toggle, you would sync videos to your product catalog manually one by one after reviewing them in TikTok One rather than using the system's auto-sync feature.

  8. Set your product delivery method.

    1. Advertiser shipping: Advertisers ship products directly to creators.

    2. Redeem code: Advertisers provide creators with redemption codes to order products from the brand's website.

    3. Local purchase: Creators purchase products from local retailers and will be reimbursed by TikTok for these expenses. Note: Only available to select clients.

  9. Set creator preferences and screening questions to help you find creators that meet your desired qualifications. Creators must answer each question. You can add a maximum of five questions.

    • Note: If Private Creator Pool is enabled for your account, you will be able to select a creator pool. Learn more about Private Creator Pool.

  10. Set video requirements.

    1. Set video turnaround time: Set the deadline for video submissions. It should be at least 14 calendar days after creators join the campaign.

    2. Enter restrictions, must-do's, and must-avoid's. Video suggestions and reference videos are optional.

  11. Fill out payment details.

  12. Provide your brand assets, such as logo and icons.

  13. Review and click Submit.

  14. Review creator submissions on the Pending orders page of the Campaign tab. Click View details to check creator profiles and video performance.

  15. Click Accept or Decline for your desired creators.

  16. Complete the product delivery instructions based on your previously selected delivery method.

    1. For shipped products, find the approved orders and click Submit shipping info to provide the tracking information for creators.

    2. For redemption codes, when accepting creators' applications, you need to specify the redemption codes.

      1. If the codes are already pre-set for the product, you can select the available ones in the dropdown list.

      2. You can also directly enter any new code which is not pre-set for the product.

      3. You can also click "bulk edit codes" to go to the physical product page to manage the codes and then go back to edit the code.

    3. For local purchase, you have already provided instructions on local purchase of the products and this information will be synced to creators when creators are approved, so there are no additional operations during campaign management.

  17. Request edits to the submitted videos if needed. You can find request edits in the order and video detail pages.

  18. Request more videos (up to 5) from a creator, after their previous video has passed platform review.

  19. Approve creator videos and launch your ads through TikTok Ads Manager.
