Make sure you have admin credentials for your Google Sheets and CRM accounts and admin access to your TikTok Ads Manager account.
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Hover over Tools, then select Events to enter Events Manager.
Click on Connect data source.
Select CRM as the data source.
Create a name for the CRM event.
Once the event set is created successfully, you will be redirected to the setting tab. Click on the Connect button.
Select Automatic setup with partner platform.
Click on Next.
On the screen, you will see a list of CRMs. Search for and select Google Sheets.
Select Direct Integration.
Sign in to TikTok ad account and select your TikTok ad account from the dropdown.
Sign into your Google account and select the Google account you want to use.
Click on Continue to share access permissions with TikTok.
Click Choose Google Sheet file. You will be directed to a pop-up window to select the specific spreadsheet.
Select the specific worksheet or tab within your Google Sheet in the worksheet dropdown
Map the fields.
After selecting your Google Worksheet, the field mapping section will automatically appear below to match your worksheet headers. Note: Lead Status is required. At least one of Lead Id, Email, Phone or Click Id is required.
Note:
All of your existing and new lower-funnel conversion signals will be automatically postback to TikTok. You can select the event to optimize for in the campaign creation process.
Data-In and Data-out are separate connections and need to be configured independently.
Connection for Data-In needs to be configured from Events Manager. Select Data sources, then CRM. Choose Direct Integrations.
In TikTok Ads Manager, hover over the Tools tab and select Events.
Click on Data sources in the left navigation.
Click on the CRM event you just created. Note: It can take up to 4 hours to show the data postback.
You need to map the Custom Events to the Standard Events on the right.
If you don’t find the matched Standard Events on the right column, it can mean:
Your event is already mapped to Standard Events.
There’s no suitable Standard Events to map to.
We recommend to postback Standard Events because only Standard Events can be used to optimize conversion, and can be tracked and used in measurement reporting.
In TikTok Ads Manager, hover over the Tools tab and select Events.
Click on Data sources in the left navigation.
Click the CRM event set that you just created.
Observe if the data has flowed into attributed events. It might take 10 minutes for data to sync. If the matched events number is greater than 0, then the postback data has started to come into TikTok, and the configuration is complete.
