How to Allocate a Credit Line

Note: Only Business Center Admins and Ad Account Admins can view and operate Credit Line functions on Business Center and TikTok Ads Manager.

Once our Credit Control team establishes your Credit Line, in order to start spending, you will need to allocate the balance of your credit line between any Business Center or Ad Account(s) you wish to spend in. This will allow you to set a budget on the amount that any Ad Account or Business Center can spend.

This process will vary depending on the number of Business Centers you use and the number of ad accounts you manage. There are currently two different methods that may be applicable to you, depend on your level of access permission or number of ad accounts you manage.

Method 1: Credit Line (Funding Source) to Business Center to Ad Account

This is the recommended method when utilizing Credit Line funds.

  • Why: This allows clients with multiple Ad Accounts under the same Business Center to allocate funds without having to log in to each individual Ad Account.

  • Who: Business Center Admins.

  • Where: Entirely in the Business Center.

Note: You must be a Business Center Admin to allocate funds in Business Center.
