About the Payment Management page in TikTok Business Center
Last updated, March 2024

Before you start:

  • Only a Business Center Admin, or Business Center member with a Finance role can manage payments.

  • To manage the payment of an ad account in Business Center, the Business Center needs to either:

    • Own the ad account. (Ad accounts created by the Business Center are owned by the Business Center)

    • Have used Ad Account Transfer to take ownership of the Business Center (for managed customers only).

    • Have requested permission to manage payment of an ad account it does not own via Billing Sharing.

What can you do on the Payment Management page:

  • View the total account balance of your Business Center in real-time.

  • Increase or decrease the balance for your ad accounts.

  • Check the detailed payment information for ad accounts, which are managed by the corresponding Business Center

Note: Please contact your sales representatives to apply for refund. Currently, we do not support applying for refund in Business Center.

How to view the total account balance

Click Payment Management in the navigation bar on the left and it will show information related to your account, cash, voucher, and remaining balances.

  • Account Balance: The total balance of your Business Center account.

  • Remaining: The total balance of the Business Center account minus the unusable balance (such as credit which has been frozen).

  • Cash Balance: The portion of the account balance that is cash which has been paid into the account.

  • Voucher Balance: The portion of the account balance that is voucher credit.

How to adjust the balance for your ad accounts

Before you start:

  • Only after the ad account has been approved, can the Business Center increase or decrease the balance.

  • Only once the ad account has not accrued ad spend in the past 3 hours will transferring funds out become available.

  • Once voucher credit has been transferred into the ad account, it cannot be transferred out.

  • The available balance that can be transferred does not include taxes and frozen cash.

Manual Balance Allocation

  • Manual Balance Allocation allows you to increase or decrease your ad account balance.

  • Under the Account Name, you can choose either to increase or decrease your balance.

  • The Balance Alert will be displayed on the right side of the table under the Balance Allocation tab. This reads Yes when you should increase the balance as soon as possible for the ad account.

Note: If the account balance ≤ [3 * the last 7 days average spend], the balance alert column will display Yes.
