Getting started with TikTok Business Center

Before getting started, do the following:

  1. ​Decide who you want to be the Administrator of your TikTok Business Center account

    • Generally, the business owner or primary "day-to-day" contact for your marketing team will become the Admin, so they can set up and manage your Business Center. The Admin should have permission to act on behalf of your business, as they will decide who can access your assets. It is important that all businesses have at least two Admins. This way, if one Admin suddenly leaves the company, there will still be a Business Center Admin left to help manage access.

  2. Sign up for TikTok For Business

    • Only TikTok For Business users can create ad accounts, make TikTok Business Center accounts, be assigned a role, and receive access to assets. You can become a TikTok For Business users by signing up on the following links.

    • To facilitate better transparency for users and support a trusted ads environment, TikTok will authenticate all advertiser accounts by requiring you to submit a verification document for review. Refer to How to Complete Business Verification to learn more.


I've already created a Business Center account, but I'm not able to access it. How can I fix this?

If you've forgotten your password, you can verify your account as long as you have access to your login email or phone number. Follow the instructions on the login page to send the account reset link to either of these contact options. If you don't have access to the login email or phone number, unfortunately, there is no way to retrieve your account. This is to ensure the safety and security of our accounts.

My organization already has a Business Center. Should I create a new one?

You may want to create a new Business Center if you're a part of a local organization within a global company, and if you operate in a different currency than the global company. You can follow the steps to create a new Business Center and add your HQ global Business Center as a Partner to the local Business Center to share asset access.

Am I able to change the Business Center Admin after I've created the account?

Yes, you can grant another member of the Business Center Admin access after you've created your account. To follow the steps to add an Admin, refer to Add Users to TikTok Business Center.

Am I able to change the business information after I've created an account?

Unfortunately, you can not change your business information like the company name in Business Center directly, so we recommend you ensure this information is accurate when creating your account. If you are a managed customer, you can reach out to your sales rep to initiate the process, or if you're an unmanaged customer, you can file a ticket with this request.

How do I find my Business Center ID?

You can find your Business Center ID by clicking on your Business Center name in the top right corner of your Business Center. There, you'll be able to see a section that says "ID: XXXXX" with the correct ID number.

How do I connect my ad account to my Business Center or create a new ad account?

To manage an ad account on behalf of someone else, or to work on an ad account owned by another business, you can request access to this ad account. Upon approval, you will be able to assign someone from your Business Center with permission to it. You can also create ad accounts in a verified Business Center for different purposes, such as a single ad account for each brand or line of business you are promoting.
