About Monthly Invoicing

Before getting started: Monthly Invoicing is only available for managed accounts. It is not currently available for self-serve customers or reservation-only clients. To determine if you are eligible, please contact your sales rep.


Monthly Invoicing is a billing option available on TikTok Ads Manager that allows you to use a credit line extended by our finance team to pay for your advertising costs. As you accumulate billable spending, the available credit on your credit line will decrease. However, paying your invoice will restore your credit line to its full amount, equal to the amount paid. To get started, you will need your Credit Line application approved by the Credit Control Team.


Note:

  • The Monthly Invoicing Credit Line limit is determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • You will receive an invoice for the amount of credit used at the end of the month.


Monthly Invoicing eligibility

To be eligible for a credit line, you must meet the following conditions:

  1. ​You have signed an Auction Framework Agreement.

  2. ​You have a managed account.

  3. ​You have not set up Monthly Invoicing before.


Note: If you are currently using the Manual Payment for your ad accounts, you will be unable to apply for a Monthly Invoicing from the TikTok Ads Manager Payment page. If you wish to set up the billing option as Monthly Invoicing, you will need to sign a new post-pay contract first. Please contact your sales rep for more information.


Set up Monthly Invoicing

If you meet the conditions above, you will see the Apply for a Credit Line button on your Payment page.

  1. To apply for a Credit Line, go to your Payment page and click Apply for a Credit Line.

  2. Next, you will need to fill out a Credit Line application with the following details:

    • Basic Information

    • Credit Related Application

    • Applicant information

  3. Once you click Submit, we will review your Credit Line application.

How to check the application status

The status of your Credit Line application will be displayed on the Payment page of each of your ad accounts. If the application is rejected, you will be able to apply again in 1 day. For more information, please contact your account manager or sales rep.


Application approval

Once your Credit Line application is approved, you can now allocate the available credit to your accounts and begin spending. Please see How to Use Credit Line Funds on how to allocate the Credit Line Funds.


If you have any questions about Credit Line, please contact your account manager or create a ticket with customer support.


Add a balance to your account

After you add a payment method to your account, you can add a balance to your account. To add a balance to your account:

  1. Go to your Payment page and select the Summary tab.

  2. Click Add Balance.

  3. Enter the Total Amount you wish to add.

  4. Select a Current Payment Method or choose a One-time payment method.

  5. Click Make Payment and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.


Once you complete the transaction, you will see your Account Balance in the following locations:

  • On the Summary tab on your Payment page.

  • Under the Today's Spend module on your Dashboard.

  • Any balance you add to your account will go towards paying your invoices.

    • For instance, if you set up Monthly Invoicing and add $100 USD to your account balance, and then spend $150 USD on TikTok ads, we'll deduct $100 USD from your account balance. To cover the remaining $50 USD, you can follow the steps to pay the invoice.


Pay the Invoices

  1. Click the payment link in the Invoice Email or click the Pay Now button from Business Center by going to Finance and clicking Billing Page.

  2. Select the bank card or add one new payment method to pay the invoice.

  3. The system will automatically update the invoice and statement payment status.
