About Email Allowlist
Last updated, November 2023

This new feature of the Business Center allows customers to limit the access of their account to a specific email domain to prevent fraudulent or accidental members being added to the Business Center.

For example, only users who have a xxx@tiktok.com will be approved to have access to the account. If someone tries to add a user with an email outside of the approved domain, they will be unable to do so and receive a message explaining that the user is outside of the domain.

Note: Only Admins of the Business Center will be able to set the approved email domain list.

How to set up Approved Email Domains

  1. Ensure that you're an Admin of the Business Center. You can check your level of access by looking at the status next to your name at the top of the Overview page on your account.

  2. Enter the Business settings page. On the far right, you'll see a Security table. Click on the Approved email domain section to expand.

  3. Enter the approved email domain or domains into the text box - remember to enter the various email address options that could be applied (e.g. xxx@tiktok.com).

  4. Select whether you want this to apply to only Admins, or All members.

  5. Click confirm to complete the process.

Note: You may see a list of users who have already been added to the Business Center account that are outside of the approved email domain. You can choose to remove those users, or ignore by clicking Not Now in the message.
