When you create a Reach and Frequency campaign (R&F), you have the option of sending people to relevant pages on TikTok from your ads when someone clicks on a link. R&F campaigns can deliver a seamless experience used to:
Drive purchases on TikTok Shop.
Improve discoverability and stimulate TikTok account followers.
Encourage content creation on Hashtag Challenge (HTC) and Branded Effect (BE) pages.
Reach and Frequency campaigns support linking to a variety of TikTok pages, including:
Product page: A product page from your TikTok Shop. Learn more about TikTok Shop and availability in your region.
Branded Hashtag Challenge (HTC) page: The page containing all of your HTC-created videos.
Branded Effect Page: The page containing all your Branded Effect-created videos.
Branded Effect Camera page: The camera app with your applied Branded Effect.
Music page: Your public Music page.
Account Profile page: Your public Account Profile page.
Video page: Your public Video page.
To add links to TikTok pages in a Reach & Frequency ad, you will need to copy the link of the desired page from TikTok, then follow the instructions below to enable deep link to the following pages.
This will direct users to your TikTok Product Page.
Select Website as your Destination page.
Input your TikTok Shop Product page URL into the URL field.
Enable Direct users to deep link first using the toggle. This is represented by a checkmark.
This will direct users to your HTC page when you promote a HTC.
Select Website as your Destination page.
Input your Branded HTC page URL into the URL field.
Enable Direct users to deep link first using the toggle. This is represented by a checkmark.
This will direct users to your choice of the Branded Effect aggregated page, or the Branded Effect Camera. These links are generated by your Account Manager for use during R&F campaign creation.
Select Website as your Destination page.
Input your Branded Effect page URL into the URL field.
Enable Direct users to deep link first using the toggle. This is represented by a checkmark.
Choose to direct users to your Branded Effect Page or Branded Effect Camera.
This will direct users to your music page.
Select Website as your Destination page.
Input your Music page URL into the URL field.
Enable Direct users to deep link first using the toggle. This is represented by a checkmark.
This will direct users to your account profile page.
Select Website as your Destination page.
Input your Account Profile page URL into the URL field.
Enable Direct users to deep link first using the toggle. This is represented by a checkmark.
This will direct users to your Video page when you promote a video.
Select Website as your Destination page.
Input your music page URL into the URL field.
Enable Direct users to deep link first using the toggle. This is represented by a checkmark.
You can preview your R&F destination page on your mobile device using a QR Code.
Step 1: Generate a QR Code
Go to the TikTok page used for your R&F campaign.
Create your deep link.
Click Check if your deep link is working correctly to display the QR code.
Step 2: Scan QR Code from the TikTok app
Open the TikTok app on your mobile device.
Go to the Friends page.
Click the Find friends icon in the top left corner.
Click the Scanner icon in the top right corner.
Scan the QR code you generated in step 1.
After scanning the QR code, determine if your deep link is correctly working.
