Set Up TikTok Storefront on Square
Before getting started: TikTok Storefront is currently only available to Square merchants who have already onboarded the product. Stay tuned as we continue to evolve our products to help businesses grow via TikTok!
With Square, you can sync your product catalog from Square to power your shop and ads. Here's how to set it up!
Instructions
Step 1: Connect Square to a TikTok account
Find TikTok for Business under Ecommerce > Online sales channels. Click Connect account to get started.
If you don’t yet have a Square Online site, you’ll be prompted to create one before using Square x TikTok. Square Online setup is quick and free!
Log in to your TikTok account or Sign up for a TikTok account.
Authorize TikTok For Business to connect to your TikTok account.
Step 2: Connect a TikTok for Business account
Next you will need to connect to your TikTok for Business account to Square x TikTok.
If the TikTok account you connected with Square x TikTok is already linked to a TikTok For Business account, there is no action to take.
If the TikTok account you connected with Square x TikTok is not linked to a TikTok For Business account, you will need to register for a TikTok for Business account or log in to your existing TikTok for Business account.
2. After connecting your TikTok For Business account, you will receive a prompt to create or connect your TikTok Business Center and TikTok Ads Manager accounts.
3. To create a new TikTok Ad account, click Create new and connect to Square x TikTok.
4. Or, select an existing TikTok Ad account associated with your TikTok For Business account and then connect to Square x TikTok.
Step 3: Create a Pixel
Install a new TikTok Pixel by clicking Create New in the Data Sharing section.
Having set up the TikTok Pixel, you will have the option of enabling Advanced Matching to track your website visitor events with improved match rate accuracy for optimal measurement.
Step 4: Create a Catalog and Sync Products
Set up your product catalog syncing by clicking on Create New. This will sync your existing Square catalog onto your TikTok profile.
Note: Products may take up to 3-5 days to be approved.
Once you have completed each step, click Finish Setup.
